Chronic Kidney disease is a common condition as a sequence to long standing Diabetes and Hypertension, in addition to many other causative factors.The department is equipped with latest 20 Dialysis machine working in three shifts that also provides emergency dialysis under most safe and scientific practice.
In addition the Doctors conduct regular out patient consultations for various other Kidney diseases and are supported by Urology team as well. The Dialysis experience in Rourkela is one of the best being highly personalised with very effective monitoring mechanism. Presently the center does not have Renal Transplant facilities but regularly assist the patients with counselling, advice and referring them to registered centers of choice. Dialysis services are available to patients under the state run BSKY scheme beneficiaries.
