Dr Jyotsna AS is the first Pediatric Neurologist in the city of Mysuru. She did her MBBS from JSS Medical College, and DNB in Paediatrics at Apollo BGS Hospital, Mysore.
Work Experience
She worked as paediatrician in Mysuru for 5 years until 2017. She then underwent 5 years of exclusive training in Pediatric Neurology which includes 2 years of fellowship, followed by 3 years of DM at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
She has a vast experience in all aspects of child neurology which includes epilepsy, movement disorders, developmental and speech disorders, neuromuscular and neurogenetic disorders.

Honors & Awards
She has publications in reputed national and international journals. She has received several accolades in Pediatric Neurology research. Recently, her research on ‘Early onset epilepsy’ won the best paper award in the National Conference of Pediatric Neurology, Childneurocon 2022.
Area of Expertise
She has special expertise in neurotechnology that includes EEG, Nerve conduction study, VEP and BAEP.
She is certified in the ILAE (International League Against Epilepsy) conducted course on “EEG in the first year of life.”
