Apollo Colorectal Cancer support group is Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai Initiative. This group is for patients suffering from colorectal cancer, families & caregivers.
This is an open access group, anyone suffering from colorectal cancer can voluntarily participate in this group, he or she can share their experiences, seek opinion or advice and also guide other patients if they have any query regarding the disease or the treatment.
Objective of this group is to ease or improve the patients overall journey while undergoing the treatment of colorectal cancer and even after the completion of the treatment.

Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer- The large intestine, also known as colon is a five feet long tubular structure. After the small intestine, large intestine begins starting with caecum, ascending, transverse and descending colon, sigmoid colon, rectum and anus. It has four linings. It absorbs water from the liquid stool and making it solid.
Stoma Care
Stoma comes from the Greek word meaning mouth/opening. It is a surgically created opening to dispel wastes out of the body.
