CARDIAC BIOMARKERS TEST
Procedure:
Blood is tested for the markers either the point of care or the lab measurement. E.g Troponin, Creatine kinase( CKMB) etc.
Major indications:
Cardiac markers are used in the diagnosis and risk stratification of patients with chest pain and suspected acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
