For every patient visiting, the Department of Psychiatry at Apollomedics Hospital makes comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations including an in-depth interview of the patient and family members, a detailed review of present and past management, detailed medical and psychiatric history, diagnostic testing, brain imaging, Electroencephalography, psychological testing, if indicated. We also provide an assessment of trauma, alcohol and substance use.
Upon completion of the comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, the Psychiatrist will provide a summary of presenting complaints, mental status examination findings, investigation details, diagnosis and pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment recommendations.
