Laparoscopic Isthomocele Repair with Endosuturing and Reconstruction of Uterus

30 year-old lady referred to Dr Neha Negi with previous 2 LSCS with dysmenorrhea with postmenstrual spotting with heavy menstrual bleeding from the past 1 year (6 months after her second LSCS) with USG showing Isthmocele with clots and haemorrhage.

The patient underwent successful laparoscopic Isthmocele sac resection and freshening of scar tissue with Isthmocele Repair, along with endosuturing and reconstruction of the uterus. The patient had an uneventful post-operative period along with discharge in stable condition.
Laparoscopic Isthmocele repair is a minimally invasive surgery to correct caesarean scar defects/ pouch/ Isthmocele with the reconstruction of uterus.
