Dr. Prathap C Reddy, the visionary Founder Chairman of Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, is widely credited as being the architect of modern Indian healthcare. His vision of bringing world-class healthcare within the economic and geographic reach of millions of patients was the genesis of Apollo Hospitals.
The first Apollo opened its doors in 1983, and heralded the private healthcare revolution in the nation.
Apollo Hospitals introduced international quality healthcare to India, at a cost which was a tenth of
comparable costs in the Western world.

Preetha Reddy had formally joined the Apollo Hospitals Group in 1989 and was pivotal in its emergence as Asia’s foremost and trusted integrated healthcare provider. She leads Apollo Hospitals’ thrust on continuous quality improvement processes and had championed its endeavour to be accredited by the Joint Commission International (NABH), the global gold standard for quality and patient safety.
She is the Managing Trustee of the Apollo Hospitals Education Trust, a principal body leading the development of institutions of excellence in Nursing, Allied Health Sciences and Management, all with the shared objective of building a talent pool of skilled health human resources in India.
Ms. Suneeta Reddy

A member of the founding family, Suneeta Reddy joined the Apollo Hospitals Group in 1989.
Spearheading the finance function, she was instrumental in taking the organization to the international equity markets through a successful GDR and subsequently bringing the First Foreign Direct Investment into Healthcare in India.
It has been her deep domain knowledge and foresight that has guided Apollo’s emergence as a formidable, financially sound hospital enterprise.

Mr. Deepak Calian Vaidya presently an Independent Director of Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals Hospitals Limited, Kolkata had been Additional Director at Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals since September 20, 2006. He has an overall experience of more than 30 years.
Mr. Deepak C. Vaidya served as a Partner of Permira Advisers Ltd. He has also served as Partner and Country head of India of Schroeder Capital Partners (Asia) Ltd. He serves as Chairman of Arc Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Vaidya served as the Head of the Indian Country at Symphony Capital Partners (Asia) Pte. Ltd. and served as its Partner. He has been the Chairman of Strides Shasun Limited since December 21, 2005 and its Independent Non Executive Director since January 16, 1998. He served as the Chairman of Sequent Scientific, Ltd. since December 2005. He serves as Director of Sutherland Healthcare Solutions Private Limited and Sutherland Healthcare Solutions, Inc. He serves as a Director of PPN Power Generating Company Private Limited, Lodhi Property Company Limited and Heritage Resorts Private Limited.
He is on the board of various companies in pharma, service and power sector. He has been an Independent Director at Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. since July 31, 2000. He has been an Independent – Non-Executive Director of Indraprastha Medical Corp. Ltd. since August 1, 2012. He serves as a Director at Apollo Health Street Limited and Apollo Health Street Inc. He served as a Non-Executive & Independent Director of Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited from October 28, 2010 to November 19, 2012. He served as a Director of GTL Infrastructure Ltd. from August 1, 2006 to January 14, 2010. He served as a Non Executive Director of Indraprastha Medical Corp. Ltd. until August 4, 2005. He served as an Additional Director of Sequent Scientific Ltd. from October 25, 2007 to March 30, 2009 and since January 1998.
Mr. Vaidya has been a Member of International Markets Advisory Board of the NASDAQ Stock Market.
Mr. Shankar Dey

Mr. Shankar Dey aged 62 years is a seasoned banking and finance professional with over 40 years experience in banking and industry; a significant part in leadership positions. His experience covers investment, commercial and private banking including lending, capital markets, corporate advisory, M&A and private client advisory. He had set up and managed the Indian operations of three leading international banks. He possesses strong relationships with leading Indian corporates and business groups as well as with banks, investment banks and other financial institutions and intermediaries.
Mr. Dey has taught finance and banking at a number of training courses in India and overseas. He is also part of the visiting faculty at the Asia Pacific Banking Institute.
Mr. Sudhir Jalan

Mr. Sudhir Jalan aged 70 Years, is a well known industrialist with over forty years of experience in handling various forms of industry. He has extensive work experience in commercial and corporate agreements, joint venture and financial transactions, real estate, trust laws and litigation and has led and been involved in such transactions.
Mr. Sudhir Jalan has been instrumental in playing pivotal roles in the soaps and detergents, electronics, chemicals and engineering industries. He advises a range of large Indian and multinational clients in various business sectors. He is presently the Group Chairman of Jalan group of companies which constitute industries in tea, agro-foods, software and engineering.
Mr. Sudhir Jalan, an Independent Director on Board Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals Hospitals Limited, Kolkata, has served as President in various distinguished organizations such as Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the apex body of all Chambers of Commerce in India, The Indian Chamber of Commerce, All India Organization of Employers, Indian Soap and Toiletries Makers Association, Indian Rope Manufacturers Association and Indian Council of Arbitration.
Currently, Mr. Sudhir is the Chairman of Bells Softech Limited and Director of several other companies. At present, he is the President, India Chapter, International chamber of Commerce and also the Honorary Councellor General of Greece for eastern India.
