Dr. Bharath Kumar, working as a Consultant at Apollo has six years of experience in the department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Bharath, who has immense exposure and experience in the field of ophthalmology, has so far performed more than 12000 cataract surgeries.
He is an expert in the treatment of Laser in diabetic retinopathy management.
He is also well versed in diabetic retinopathy management.
He is well versed with all the latest techniques like corneal transplantation, phacoemulsification with foldable IOL implantation, ICL treatment, C3R treatment, LASIK & other refractive surgical procedures.

Dr. Bharath is actively involved in the field of Research and Education. He has Published a paper in the Journal “Molecular Genetics” titled “Refinement of locus on Chromosome for Retinitis pigmentosa in an Indian family”. This was done in association with the Indian Institute of Science.
