Meet Ms Rehema, patient’s sister from Tanzania, East Africa, accompanied by her sister, Ms Damari, seeking treatment for Multiple Myeloma, under the expert care of Dr Padmaja Lokireddy, a distinguished Hemato oncologist at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
She was under treatment from August 2023 to December 2023, and later suggested for bone marrow transplant. In January 2024, she was admitted in a critical condition. Dr Lokireddy carried out a bone marrow transplant, and the patient appears to be healthy and cured post-treatment.
