Mrs Rima Bhatta from West Bengal shares her husband’s medical journey at Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Her husband was diagnosed with pheochromocytoma in 2020 and underwent surgery in Kolkata. However, in March 2024, he began experiencing severe stomach pain and cramps, leading to the discovery of a kidney tumour. Seeking proper treatment, they travelled to Hyderabad and visited a nursing home, where he was advised to undergo a PET-CT and biopsy.
For a second opinion, they went to Apollo Hospitals and fortunately got an appointment with Dr TPS Bhandari, an esteemed oncologist with over two decades of experience. After reviewing the reports, Dr Bhandari assured them it was a recurrence of pheochromocytoma and nothing too serious. This reassurance helped them build trust in Dr Bhandari and boosted their confidence.
