A Child from West Bengal diagnosed with Retinoblastoma | Successfully treated with Radiation Therapy

Baby Anvi Prasad from West Bengal, accompanied by her father Mr Suresh Prasad, scheduled an appointment with Dr Vijay Anand Reddy, a renowned Radiation Oncologist at Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Baby Anvi was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer that typically occurs in children under the age of 5.

Mr Suresh was educated about retinoblastoma radiation therapy, which uses high-energy x-rays or particles to kill cancer cells. Radiation therapy is an effective treatment for some children with retinoblastoma. She is successfully treated with radiation therapy.
