31 yr from Vijayawada had Successful Core Decomposition Surgery for Avascular Necrosis of Right Hip

Meet Mr Mahesh, a 31-year-old from Vijayawada, who shares his journey with Dr K J Reddy, a highly esteemed orthopaedic surgeon at Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

Mr Mahesh had been suffering from severe back pain for some time and initially consulted another doctor. An MRI revealed a disc bulge at the L4-L5 level, requiring further investigation to rule out avascular necrosis. Upon a friend’s recommendation, he consulted Dr Reddy, who advised an MRI of the hips. The results showed grade 1 to 2 avascular necrosis, and Dr Reddy recommended core decomposition surgery, which was successful.
