• Joined MBBS course at Rangaraya medical college, Kakinada A.P in 1979 and passed MBBS in 1984.completed Internship In 1985.

• Joined MS general course at Kasturba medical college, Manipal, Karnataka in 1988 and passed in 1991

• Joined MCh [CTVS] course at JIPMER, Pondicherry in July 1992 and passed MCh examination in august 1994. Assisted and performed several closed heart operations, Also assisted about 300 open heart operations and performed 20 open heart surgeries. Presented two papers entitled “pulmonary hydatidosis” and “juvenile mitral stenosis, experience with commisurotomy”. Attended workshop on “Aortic valve disease” held at kovai medical centre and hospital, Coimbatore in November 1993.
