Apollo Secunderabad’s “Clean & Green” program!

Apollo Secunderabad employees and doctors make the adjacent street spic and span through a Clean & Green” program !

Hyderabad, November 1st, 2014: Senior doctors of various specialties, paramedics, nurses and employees of Apollo Hospitals, Secunderabad, participated in a “Clean & Green” program with a missionary zeal, as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, on Saturday early morning in the street adjacent to the hospital.

Prominent specialists including Dr. Shiv Kumar, Col. Dr. Seetharam, Dr. Mithin Aachi, Dr. Venkat Reddy, Dr. Madhumathy and 50 other staff gathered at the entrance of the street promptly at 6.00 am. The volunteers armed with broomsticks, shovels, bags, fanned out and went about with the cleaning of the garbage and debris in the lane from Keyes High school to the end of the street.

Later trees were planted to make the lane “Green”, litter bins were placed to sustain the cleanliness drive and educative slogans on cleanliness were displayed prominently to sensitize the road users on using litter bins and to avoid urinating, spitting, smoking in the public areas.
