      There have been some studies on the role of melatonin for adjuvant use in COVID-19 in anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation, immune response regulation. However, this needs further research to be taken as conclusive evidence. In another study, Melatonin was found effective in critical care patients by reducing vessel permeability, anxiety, sedation use, and improving sleeping quality. Additional experiments and clinical studies are required to confirm this speculation.
