Dr. Vikram Paode is a distinguished Orthopaedician with an impressive 29 years of experience dedicated to Orthopedic Revision Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine at Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai. His journey in medicine began with his basic training in India, after which he honed his expertise in Europe. Dr. Paode served at the Queen Elizabeth Hospitals in Glasgow, one of the most prominent tertiary care hospitals. There, he gained recognition for his specialization in complex revision surgeries of Hip and Knee Arthroplasties, particularly handling cases referred due to repeated surgeries. His extensive experience includes significant roles in Level 1 Trauma Care centers, where he developed crucial skills in managing complex polytrauma cases, particularly those involving patients airlifted in emergency situations.
As the former Trauma Coordinator at At-Sultan Qaboos Hospital, Dr. Paode's expertise culminated in the innovation of knee clinics that address multi-ligament injuries stemming from trauma and sports. His specific areas of interest encompass ACL and PCL ligament reconstruction, soft tissue procedures, and complex trauma surgery. He has become adept at performing Hip and Knee Arthroscopic surgeries, along with pelvic osteotomies for hip dysplasia.
