WORK EXPERIENCE

• Working as consultant Orthopedic surgeon at Mhatre Accident Hospital, Panvel from 15 Jan 2017 till date.

• Consultant visiting Orthopedic surgeon in Appolo clinic Vashi, from 1/8/2008 to 31/7/2014

• Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon, Navi Mumbai Muncipal Corporation Hospital, from November 2006 till 31/07/2015 NMMC Hospital is the largest hospital in Navi Mumbai (2500000 populations). It is a 500 beded hospital and also called as first referral unit in Navi Mumbai. As Consultant Ortho Surgeon I am handling one unit independently and doing all trauma surgeries, spine and Arthoplasty surgeries. I am also having teaching experience in the form of taking undergraduate and Post Graduate Clinics and Ward rounds. I have operated more than 200 trauma surgeries which include simple as well as complex trauma. I have done 50 spine surgeries which includes disccectomy and laminectomy and lumbar spine instrumentation.

• Consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Lions Charitable Hospital, Koperkhairane, Navi Mumbai from 26/6/10 to 12/8/12. As a visiting Orthopaedic surgeon I got opportunity to serve poor people in LIONS charitable hospital.

• Assistant Fellow Surgeon with Dr. Rajeev Arora who is Trauma, Arthoplasty and Arthroscopy Surgeon in Pune. I have worked with Dr. Arora as an Assistant fellow Surgeon from July 2006 to October 2006. As an assistant fellow I had an opportunities to travel with him to various hospitals and exposed to all kinds of complicated Trauma Surgeries, joint replacement and arthoscopy.

• Consultant Orthopedic surgeon Chaitanya Trust Hospital, Pune (Jan 2006 to June 2006) Chaitanya Trust Hospital is known for its work in Polio and Cerebral Palsy Rehabitation. I was exposed to all kinds of polio and Cerebral Palsy Surgeries and their pre operative planning and post operative Rehabilitation.

• Diplomat of National Board of Examinations (DNB), KEM Hospital, Pune. February 2003 to January 2005 as a Tutor/ Registrar in orthopaedic Department KEM hospital Pune is 700 beded multispecialty post Graduate Teaching hospital affiliated to B. J. Medical College and Sassoon hospitals Pune, which is under Pune University. As Tutor/ Registrar in Department I handled the following responsibilities: Trauma Surgery, Joint Replacement, Paediatric Orthopaedic, Arthoscopy and preoperative planning and post operative care. I have conducted lectures and teaching program for undergraduate and post graduates. I have worked with Dr. Satish Kutty (M.S., Mch Liverpool) and assisted him in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeries, trauma and joint replacement.

• Junior and Senior Resident in Sancheti Institute of Orthopedic and Rehabilitation, Pune, from July 2000 to June 2002 SIOR is the largest Orthopaedic Institute in India with full time faculty of joint replacement, Trauma,PaediatricOrthopaedics, Arthoscopy, Spine, Plastic, Neurosurgeons, Vascular, Fascio Maxillary and Urosurgeons. SIOR is the recognized post graduate and DNB training institute recognized by Medical Council of India and University of Pune. As a Junior and seniorresident I had training in Casualty Management, Trauma Management, and Assisted Joint replacement, Spine and Arthoscopy Surgeries, Ward round and Clinics, out patients department (OPD) of all faculties.

• One year Rotatory Internship from July 1998 To July 1999. During this period I have worked in Rural and Urban hospitals in various disciplines of Medicine and Surgery. Participated in Community Health Programs and National Health Program.
