He has completed his MBBS from Thanjavur Medical college. His MS was from RG KAR Medical college Kolkata, he has also done DNB from National board of examinations. Following his PG he has done his Fellowship in Head Neck oncology from Tata Medical center, Kolkata.

He has also cleared DOHNS (Diploma otolaryngology and Head Neck surgery) from the prestigious Royal College of surgeons of England, London

He is also a Fellow, American College of surgeons.
