    Dr. Sathish Kumar Parasuraman is a consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in adult structural and interventional cardiology with proven academic and clinical credentials. In his current role as a full-time clinician, he regularly performs a variety of interventional procedures including coronary angioplasty (stent insertion), transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), Intra vascular ultrasound and Optical coherence tomography coronary imaging, Dual chamber pacemaker and defibrillator insertion and Trans Thoracic echocardiography.

    Dr Sathish qualified in medicine from Madras Medical College in 2005, before going on to complete his MRCP in 2010. He extended his training to ensure dual accreditation in CCT (Cardiology) in 2018 and FRCP in 2020

    He has an extensive training in contemporary coronary intervention techniques including coronary rotablation, shockwave lithotripsy, excimer laser and impelia supported stenting. In patients who cannot undergo heart bypass surgery, complex heart stenting can be performed safely with excellent long term outcomes.

    Dr. Sathish is one among the few cardiologists in India to have performed more than 200 Trans – catheter Aortic Valve Implantations (Bristol Heart Institute, UK) and over 600 state of art complex coronary interventions(stenting) procedures.
