4th March – World Obesity Day 2023 | Dr. S K Wangnoo | Apollo Hospital
World Obesity Day is observed on 4th March every year to raise awareness about the growing epidemic of obesity worldwide. In this video, Dr. S K Wangnoo tells some important things. Obesity has tripled worldwide since 1975 and it is now considered a major health concern. Obesity can lead to a wide range of health problems, including diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and certain types of cancer. This year’s aims are to encourage parents, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to take action and make positive changes in their communities to help reduce the prevalence of obesity.
