A Physiotherapy Health Exhibition was organized at Apollo Hospitals , Greams road, Chennai from 8th to 10th September, 2016 with the theme “Movement for Health” and “Add Life To Years”
The Exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Sathyabhama, Group Director, Medical Services, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, Mr. Subbiah Chief Operating Officer, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and Dr. Raj Prasanna, Head, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. The physiotherapy staff exhibited nearly 400 displays pertaining to various facets of Physiotherapy including the history and latest advances in Physiotherapy, guidelines regarding exercises and diet for a healthy lifestyle, orthopedic & musculoskeletal problem and their rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, neuro rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, pelvic floor rehabilitation and respiratory rehabilitation, antenatal and post natal physiotherapy, physiotherapy in critical care and role of robotics in physiotherapy. A multidisciplinary team including nurses and doctors actively participated in the exhibition and as a concept of promoting healthy living, a group Zumba workshop was conducted by the professionals.
