Anesthesiology
The Department of Anesthesia provides a broad range of services throughout the hospital:
- Pre-operative anesthetist outpatient consultation clinics and in-hospital consultation service
- General and regional anaesthesia for all surgical specialities, including Cardiac, Thoracic, Neuro, Paediatric and Transplant Surgery
- Ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia (single shot and catheter technique) & Vascular access
- Acute post-operative pain relief service
- 24 hours – Obstetric epidural service for women in labour
- Resuscitation service for wards and accident and Emergency department
