The Department of Podiatric Surgery provides comprehensive care and treatment for disorders of the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg. With significant training from India and overseas, our Podiatric Surgeons are highly competent to diagnose and treat podiatric disorders in patients of all ages.
Our specialists collaborate with other departments, such as Infectious diseases, Internal medicine, Endocrinology, Interventional radiology, Vascular surgery, Plastic surgery, and Physiotherapy for the care and treatment of acute and chronic wounds, neuropathic foot, and neuroischemic diabetic foot.
The department offers treatments addressing the nervous system and vascular system of the foot with Biothesiometer, Thermometry, Monofilament, Doppler, Duplex, Plethysmography, Topical Oxygen therapy for hypoxic Diabetic foot ulcers, Therapeutic customised footwear to prevent occurrence and recurrence of foot complications, offloading casts, minor surgeries for ingrown toenails and wound care for ulcers, and advanced therapies for chronic pain management.
