Cardiac SPECT
Procedure:
It uses radioactive tracers that are injected into the blood to produce pictures of the heart.
Major Indications:
- Identify flow-limiting coronary artery stenoses by delineating the relative spatial distribution of myocardial blood flow at rest and again during stress.
