Nuclear cardiology
Nuclear Cardiology is a non-invasive process for understanding Coronary Artery Disease by employing nuclear imaging techniques. These examinations are generally performed while the patient is undertaking the treadmill test. Coronary artery disease can be investigated as they can cause damage to the myocardium following coronary infarction. The extent and function of the ventricles can be calculated using these techniques.
