Apollo Institute of Bariatrics (AIB) conducted its quarterly support group meet on 30th July 2016 at The Brew Room, Hotel Savera, Chennai. Support group meetings are an integral part of the institute that brings together fellow patients, both who have undergone bariatric surgery and those who are awaiting the surgery. Support group meetings aid in producing the greatest level of success for post-op patients in weight loss and improves their quality of life by up to 95%. Patients are highly encouraged to attend the support group meetings and gain insights into how others are transitioning into the new phase of their life.
