Dr. Sai Satish, Senior Interventional Cardiologist of Apollo Hospitals, Chennai conducted the first Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) workshop in Sri Lanka at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka, Colombo. Aortic stenosis patients who are at high risk and cannot undergo surgery are hugely a benefitted by Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, as it gives excellent outcomes.
Dr. Sai Satish was invited by National Hospital of Sri Lanka at Colombo to conduct a training session on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) for their cardiology team on August 22, 2018. In the training programme, Dr. Sai Satish also shared his expertise and knowledge on the latest developments in Cardiology, to enable them to save lives.
