Apollo Institute of Critical Care Medicine, Chennai is a Centre of Excellence and is one of the largest tertiary care referral unit in the country. Our multidisciplinary Critical Care Unit is managed by highly qualified and experienced group of intensivists headed by Dr. N. Ramakrishnan, Director, Critical Care Services. The volume and variety of patients, expertise of reputed specialists and dedicated teaching program has resulted in this department being the largest and most sought after critical care training program in India.
The Department is accredited by Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) to offer its Diploma and Fellowship programs and also by the National Board to train candidates for post-doctoral fellowship. In keeping with the tradition of Apollo Hospitals, the Department has trained several specialists in Critical Care Medicine who are now serving in various parts of India and also overseas.
