Apollo Institute of Critical Care Medicine, Chennai is a Centre of Excellence and is one of the largest tertiary care referral unit in the country. Our multidisciplinary Critical Care Unit has 52 beds, state of the art technology and round the clock accessibility to specialists. The unit is managed by highly qualified and experienced group of intensivists headed by Dr. N. Ramakrishnan, Director, Critical Care Services. The volume and variety of patients, expertise of reputed specialists and dedicated teaching program has resulted in this department being the largest and most sought after critical care training program in India.
This year’s program is in collaboration with the Weill Cornell University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital and focuses on common issues in Critical Care in an innovative format. The program aims to share evidence based knowledge in an interactive style involving international experts and delegates and encourages ‘Out of the Box’ thinking which is essential while caring for critically ill patients.
