Dr. (Col) V.P. Singh is a Senior member of the Comprehensive, multidisciplinary state of art facility of Apollo Cancer Institute. After his Post graduation from KGMC, Lucknow, he has worked as a Consultant in Surgical Oncology at the malignant diseases treatment centers of large teaching hospitals of the Armed Forces for 18 years. He has been further trained at The Tata Memorial Hospitals, Mumbai and the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. He has been awarded an International Union Against Cancer (UICC) fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. With his joining of Apollo Cancer Institute in year 2004, he has been able to utilize his expertise in major Surgical resections of head and neck cancers, Gastro-intestinal and Lung cancers and organ preservation surgeries in breast, larynx and limbs. He has published over 36 highly acclaimed professional papers in peer reviewed international and national journals.

She is the Chairperson for an NGO (Forum for Breast Cancer Protection) who has produced 4 ground breaking films on various aspects of breast cancer and also providing Awareness Lectures regards to Screening of Breast Cancer & Teaching Breast Self-Examination.
