Thyroid cancer typically doesn’t cause any signs or symptoms early in the disease. As cancer grows, it may cause:
- Swelling in the lower part of the neck
- Swollen lymph nodes in the neck region
- Changes to the voice, including increasing hoarseness
- Difficulty in swallowing
- Pain in the neck region and throat
