Paediatric Soft Tissue Sarcoma
Soft tissue sarcomas are a group of cancers that develop in the soft tissues surrounding, connecting or supporting the body’s structures and organs. These tissues include muscles, joints, tendons, fat, blood vessels, nerves and tendons.
Some soft-tissue tumours, such as lipomas and hemangiomas, are benign tumours. Others are malignant tumours called soft tissue sarcomas.
