Paediatrics Acute Myeloid Leukemia Signs and Symptoms

Signs and symptoms may vary from person to person. Some of the signs and symptoms are:

  • Anaemia
  • Fatigue
  • Weakness
  • Dizziness or lightheadedness
  • Coughing or Shortness of breath
  • Infections and Fever
  • Easy bruising and bleeding
  • Frequent or severe nosebleeds
  • Bleeding gums
  • Bone or joint pain
  • Abdominal distension
  • Loss of appetite and weight loss
  • Swollen lymph nodes
  • Skin rashes
  • SVC syndrome – Swelling of the face and arms
  • Headaches, trouble concentrating, weakness, seizures, vomiting, problems with balance, and blurred vision.
