Patients may have one or more of the following symptoms:

A non-healing ulcer, which may be painless/painful

Swellings in the gums, palate, or tongue

Inability to wear the denture properly.

Difficulty in chewing and swallowing

Pain while swallowing

Blood in saliva

Lump/s in the neck

Pain in ear

A white patch (Leukoplakia) or a red patch (Erythroplakia) on the buccal mucosa
