Appendix cancer often causes no symptoms in the early stages. Some of the symptoms may present as:
- Vague abdominal discomfort in the lower right abdomen
- Abdominal distension, bloating and feeling of fullness
- Pelvic discomfort
- Bowel obstruction
- Constipation/ Diarrhea
- Ovarian masses
- Acute or chronic abdominal pain
- Acute appendicitis
- Inguinal Hernia
- Carcinoid Syndrome – Flushing (redness or feeling of warmth on face and neck), Shortness of breath, wheezing, Abdominal pain, Diarrhea, Heart valve disease on the right side
