Dr Rajat Bhattacharyya is a Senior Consultant, Pediatric Haematology Oncology at Apollo Cancer Centre, Kolkata. He has over 26 years of experience treating a wide variety of conditions in the field of Pediatrics. He has several research publications and reports in various national and international publications.
Areas of Expertise
- Paediatric Haematological Malignancy like Leukaemia and Lymphoma.
- Stem cell transplantation in paediatric benign and malignant haematological conditions (thalassaemia, severe aplastic anaemia, primary immunodeficiency, high risk leukaemia etc)
- Special expertise in haploidentical transplant using selective T cell depletion.
- Cellular Therapy including CAR-T cell therapy.
- Paediatric benign haematological conditions including red cell (congenital haemolytic anaemias, iron deficiency anaemia, pure red cell aplasia etc) , white cell (neuropaenia, leukaemias), platelet problems ( Immune thromboctopaenia, congenital thrombocytopaenia syndromes, platelet function disorders), congenital and acquired bone marrow failure syndromes
