Biography
Dr Harish Kumar K is a Consultant, Radiation Oncology at Apollo Cancer Centers, Vanagaram. In his thirteen years of experience in the field of radiation oncology, he has been at the forefront of the adoption of state-of-the-art technologies such as Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Stereotactic Radiotherapy/Surgery (SRT/SRS). His areas of expertise and interest are in Head and Neck, Thoracic and Soft Tissue Sarcoma Brachytherapy.
Dr. Harish is actively engaged in radiation oncology research and education in addition to his clinical practice. In addition to presenting his findings at national and international conferences, he has authored many publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is also a mentor and shares his knowledge and experience with other radiation oncologists.
