Biography
Dr Ashu Abhishek is a leading senior consultant – radiation oncologist with special expertise in treating GI tumors – including Hepatobiliary (especially HCC and PVTT), Pancreatic, Oesophagus, colon & anorectal cancers.He has 15 years of experience. He is amongst the 1st clinicians in North India to initiate and practice Cyberknife SBRT program with special interest in treatment of liver cancers and in modern techniques to deal with motion management for tumors like Liver, Pancreas, Lung and Breast.
He has won various accolades, including grants for overseas training in precision radiotherapy. Dr. Ashu is also a well-rounded individual, being a sports person and an ultra-runner. He represented Indian Team in the ultra-running event(2022) and has also completed Gurgaon to Jaipur 200+ km Pink Purple run – raising awareness for gynaecological cancers in masses.
