Biography
Dr Vignesh Sayeerajan, is Consultant, Neurosurgery at Apollo Cancer Centre, Chennai. He one of the prominent neurosurgeons in Chennai with over 10 years of expertise in the field. His special interests in the field are Keyhole/Minimally invasive and Endoscopic/Endoscopic assisted /Trans nasal skull base procedures, function preserving tumour surgeries, Cerebrovascular/Bypass procedures, paediatric neurosurgical procedures like Spina bifida correction and complex Craniosynostosis surgeries, minimally invasive Spine surgeries. Dr Vignesh is known for his high quality, evidence based, compassionate patient care and believes strongly in team approach and innovative solutions to suit the needs of a given patient towards improving quality of life.
He has co-authored a chapter on ‘Variations in Dolenc Approach’ in the Textbook on Approaches to the Skull base. He has authored a number of articles in prominent national neurosurgical journals and he is on the reviewer board of Indian Journal of Neurosurgery. Dr Vignesh has keen interest in working with professionals from other fields in research and innovation of newer gadgets/instruments/modalities and in academics/training through conducting cadaver workshops/training sessions.
