Biography
Dr. Sajan K Hegde is a Senior Consultant – Spine Surgery at Apollo Cancer Centre Chennai. He has pioneered a wide variety of state-of-the-art procedures in the surgical management of spinal deformities, spondylolisthesis, and spinal tuberculosis. He is the first to have introduced robotic-assisted spine surgery in the Asia-Pacific region and is the only surgeon in India performing the revolutionary non-fusion scoliosis correction. He conducts a spinal fellowship program and is frequently invited both internationally and nationally to conduct workshops on advanced spinal techniques and talk on modern techniques in spinal surgery.
