Dr. K Kalaichelvi is a Senior Consultant – Medical Oncology at Apollo Cancer Centre, Chennai. She is well known in academic circles and is a professor and head of the department of Medical Oncology at Madras Medical College. She is often invited by other medical colleges for guest lectures and has several published scientific papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals. She is the recipient of several awards for her exemplary work in the field of medical oncology.
