Dr Vijay Agarwal Lead and Senior Consultant, Medical Oncologist at Apollo Cancer Centres, Bangalore. He has been working in the field of medical oncology for more than 18 years. He had his training at the top hospitals in the UK, and he has a PhD for his unique work in the field of cancer. He has 18 years experience. He provides chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy for various types of tumours and specialises in molecular diagnostics. He has over 30 papers in international journals and presents regularly at conferences and forums throughout the world. His current area of expertise is the delivery of immunotherapies for solid tumours. The Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s programme that treats young adolescents with tumours won the coveted Kate Granger NHS Award for compassionate treatment in 2014 under his direction. Hull York Medical School, UK has accepted original research on the subject of “The Importance of the EGFR pathway in Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma” for PhD.
