He has been trained in the management of medically refractory epilepsy, both surgical and medical. He has been treating refractory epilepsy patients since the last 8 yrs. He has been actively involved in advanced long term video EEG monitoring both invasive and non-invasive, of epilepsy patients in the presurgical workup and he is also well versed in intraoperative language and motor assessments during awake craniotomies in tumour and epilepsy surgeries

He has also been trained in carotid and transcranial Doppler in stroke management. He has also been involved in management of advanced Parkinson’s disease including Deep brain stimulation.

Education

Dr. Sujit Kumar finished his MBBS in the year 1999 from Bangalore and went on to do his MD in internal medicine from St. Johns Medical College in the year 2004. He further specialised in Neurology (DM) from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research – PGIMER, Chandigarh in 2007.
