Dr Steve Paul Manjaly is a highly competent doctor. He has received several accolades and recognition for his work in the field of medicine. He has received numerous awards in his medical career. He received the “Double Helical National Health Award 2019” in support of AHPI (Association of Health Healthcare Providers (India) and Consortium of Accredited Hospitals, at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi, on 17th Feb 2020.
He has acted as a resource person for several workshops, including speaker- “Cognitive Frailty- the perfect storm”- at the GERICON 2022 – National conference of the Indian Academy of Geriatrics at Calcutta, W. Bengal on 28th-30th October 2022, ‘Basic principles of Geriatric Medicine’- Satayu 2022, “Geriatric rehabilitation”, etc. He has also organised several panel discussions, such as “Delirium in the elderly”, “Dementia Awareness programme”, etc. Under his supervision, the Apollo Hospitals, BG has been recognised as a dementia-friendly hospital by the Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India, Karnataka Chapter, conferred by NMT as on Oct 2022.
Dr Steve Paul Manjaly has almost two decades of professional experience. He also has a massive 13 years of teaching experience.
Dr Steve Paul Manjaly completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2005. He then finished his Diplomate of National Board (DNB in Internal Medicine) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in June 2012. In the same year, in December, he got his Diploma in Geriatric Medicine – PGDGM from Indira Gandhi National Open University. In 2013, he also completed a Certificate Course in Pain and Palliative Care.
Dr. Steve Paul Manjaly has a Post-Graduate diploma certification in Geriatric Medicine (MS) from Ramaiah Medical College and Teaching Hospital, Bangalore, in 2012. He was awarded the Double Helical – National Health award for his contribution to Geriatrics in 2018.
