Education

Dr. Sanjay Govil is a highly qualified surgeon with an impressive academic background. He completed his MBBS from Christian Medical College, Vellore in 1985, followed by an internship from April 1985 to April 1986. He completed his MS in General Surgery from Christian Medical College Hospital in 1989 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992. Dr. Sanjay also has a Lister Fellowship in Pancreatic Surgery from Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 1998. He received specialised training in liver surgery and transplantation from prestigious institutions such as Kings College Hospital in London, Queen Mary’s Hospital in Hong Kong, and the Graduate School of Medicine in Tokyo in 2004.
