Dr Raviraj A is a senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon with over 20years of experience in joint replacement, sports medicines, arthroscopy, and complex trauma. He is a specialist in arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery, with a focus on knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow replacement surgeries, ligament reconstructions of the knee, cartilage repairs, and arthroscopic shoulder surgeries for sports injuries or dislocations of the shoulder.

Education

• Raviraj completed his MBBS from Mysore Medical College. D Ortho from JJM Medical college and DNB-Ortho from Institute of Orthoapedic Research and Accident Surgery (IORAS), Madurai.
• He also holds a fellowship in Joint Replacement and his expertise is in joint replacement of knee and hip. He has received advanced training in arthroscopy and joint replacement from various centres in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Malaysia, Bangkok, the Netherlands, the USA, and Switzerland.
• He has also completed the master’s course in Davos, Switzerland, in complex trauma and fracture management, and is associated with the Association of Osteosynthesis AO, Switzerland.

• Dr Raviraj has published more than 40 international papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a teacher and guide for the Diplomate of National Board, New Delhi, for post-graduate training in orthopaedics.
• He has been an invited guest faculty for conferences, workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training at various national and international conferences.
• He has also conducted many workshops, corporate talks, and public awareness programs for the benefit of orthopaedic patients. With his extensive experience, advanced training, and research work, Dr Raviraj is a trusted name in the field of joint replacement surgery and orthopaedics.
