Area of Expertise

My areas of interest include adult and paediatric cardiology in general, radial approach coronary interventions in particular.

I am presently working in Suguna Narayana Heart Centre (located in Suguna Hospital,Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore) with 14 CCU beds and 1cardiac catheterisation laboratory. For the last two and half years I have been working independently and doing primary coronary angioplasty regularly. Routinely I perform transradial coronary angiogram (100%) for

diagnostic purposes and PTCA (70-80%) including primary angioplasty. I perform complex PCI stenting such as LMCA stenting, bifurcation stenting, CTO and multivessel stenting.

I am trained in device closure (ASD, VSD, PDA), permanent pacemaker implantation (both single chamber and dual chamber) and balloon valvuloplasties(aortic,pulmonary,mitral).

I have an active interest in peripheral stenting including renal and carotid artery stenting.
