Dr. P Subramanya Rao is a highly experienced and accomplished head and neck oncologist and skull base surgeon, with nearly 15 years of expertise in the field. He completed his DNB at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, and pursued a fellowship in head and neck oncology at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, Ahmedabad. Dr. Rao also trained in advanced skull base surgery under Dr. Mario Sanna at the renowned Gruppo Otologico in Italy and has specialised training in minimally invasive and laser-assisted surgery.

Dr. Rao’s career combines extensive clinical practice with a strong academic foundation. His expertise include surgical treatment of oral laryngeal, nose and paranasal sinus, thyroid and parotid cancers .He is trained in use of lasers in treating head, neck, and skull base tumours, along with minimally invasive and robotic surgery techniques. He is especially skilled in laryngeal and voice preservation surgeries, aiming to enhance quality of life for patients undergoing head and neck cancer treatments.
