Dr. Jayanth Reddy

Overview

Dr. Jayanth Reddy is one of the most renowned Hepatopancreatic Biliary and Multi-organ Transplant Surgeons of India. He holds more than 15 years of clinical experience. He has a particular interest in and expertise in minimally invasive HPB surgery. Dr. Jayanth is interested in clinical research and has published scholarly publications in international journals. He has also co-authored book chapters on HPB surgery, as well as several papers and presentations at national and international gatherings. He is a member of the International Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Association (IHPBA), the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.

Education

Dr. Reddy has received training from top institutions both domestically and overseas. He received his MBBS degree from M S Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore and his surgical residency from Govt. Stanley Medical College in Chennai. Dr. Reddy completed the MRCS program at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh before pursuing an M.Ch. in Surgical Gastroenterology at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow. He also completed a two-year fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina, USA, where he gained expertise in abdominal multi-organ transplant and hepatobiliary surgery.
