Overview

Dr. Adoor Gurucharan is a renowned Neurology specialist in Bangalore with over 10 years of experience in the field. He has acquired extensive clinical and hands-on experience in Neurology throughout his medical education at one of the country’s most preeminent medical colleges. In addition, he has been a valuable participant in various training programs aimed at upskilling and enhancing his knowledge in Neurology at different stages of his medical career. Furthermore, Dr. Gurucharan is proficient in conversing in six languages of India, including Tulu, Kannada, and Telugu.

Education

Dr. Adoor Gurucharan completed his medical education at one of India’s premier medical institutions. He graduated from the esteemed VIMS & RC College in Bangalore and subsequently earned an MD degree in General Medicine from the same institution. Continuing his education at VIMS & RC, Bangalore, Dr. Gurucharan pursued a DM in Neurology as a postgraduate specialty course.

He also attended training programs, including “Botox Administration for Spastic Limbs” at Skill Matrix, VIMS & RC in 2012. Additionally, he received training under the “Acute Life Support” program held at Vinayaka Mission Hospital, Tamil Nadu.

• A proven case of H1N1 Influenza infection” – Presented at the State Level Conference of the ‘Emergency Physicians of India’ at Vinayaka Hospital, Salem, Tamil Nadu, where he participated as a postgraduate representative of VIMS & RC, Bangalore.
• “An uncommon variant of a rare type of Muscular Dystrophy” – Published in the International Journal of Research in Medical Sciences in 2013.
• “A rare manifestation of Dengue Fever” – Published in the International Journal of Clinical Cases & Investigations in 2013.
• “An interesting case of Hepatitis B Peripheral Neuropathy” – Flash Presentation in the Award Category of KNACON in 2016. For his presentation at this conference, Dr. Gurucharan earned the second prize for Karnataka.
